Roja Parfums at London Fashion Week
Roja was thrilled to be part of the Katie Eary A/W show at London Fashion Week.
Katie’s A/W 2012 collection is inspired by the darker side of the fairytale; an eerie land where an evil army looms, bridging the gap between fantasy and reality. Roja was asked to create a suitable twisted atmosphere which he did by filling the room with his Labdanum and Cedarwood candles to create a ‘leather-lined coffin’ effect. The show was a phenomenal success and everyone present, including front row guest Kanye West, received a Roja Parfums scented candle to take the atmosphere home with them.

On Tuesday, Roja was invited to ITV Studios to be an expert guest on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. Roja and Alan spoke about the best of British perfumery, and to illustrate the segment, Roja was asked to take along a few examples of Great British scents by Clive Christian, Grossmith, Belinda Brown and Roja Parfums.
Roja recently attended the Jasmine Awards breakfast presentation ceremony at BAFTA, Piccadilly. It was a fabulous event, celebrating the creativity, skill and passion of the best fragrance writers in the UK.
Here Roja sits regally with friend and Director of Brand Communications at Aston Martin, Janette Green. They found themselves perched on William 4th’s ornate velvet chair at the recent Terrence Higgins Trust charity event at the Cabinet Office.
Aside Roja, hangs an image of the late great photographer to the royal family: Cecil Beaton. Roja came across this during the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations at the Victoria & Albert Museum; amongst which was an exhibition of Sir Cecil’s portraits of the Queen. This photo particularly appealed to Roja.
